Changes that can make a cut plan stale
Changes to pane geometry, quantity, orientation, selected material, planning mode, or Film Handler machine settings can make a saved result unsuitable for current production output. The exact checks depend on the output and planning mode.
Output checks
Output generation checks for missing or stale required plans. Where supported, Precision Film Systems refreshes an eligible plan. When a valid current plan cannot be produced safely, the output is blocked instead of silently using invalid planning data.
Group-only changes
Changing only a Group name, Group assignment, or row order can update labels and organizational output without changing physical placement. It does not increase capacity or create a new planning run.
Finalized estimate revisions
A finalized estimate is a revision snapshot, not a permanently live view of later job edits. Later changes do not silently rewrite what the customer reviewed. A recorded customer response stays tied to the exact shared revision.
What connected means
Precision Film Systems reuses job data across supported planning, estimate, and output workflows. Connected does not mean every generated document changes forever. Saved plans are checked for currentness, and finalized estimates preserve the revision that was shared.
