The Film Catalog is created and maintained by the Shop user. It starts empty and does not include a preloaded manufacturer product library.

- Manufacturer, film name, and film category
- Residential and commercial warranty defaults
- Available standard widths and custom widths
- Selling price per square foot by width
- Cost per square foot by width
- Default-film selection
- Film Handler cut policy
Where catalog data is reused
Catalog records can be reused for film selection, available roll-width choices, pricing, warranty presentation, estimates, and Film Handler planning.
What the Film Catalog does not provide
- A preloaded manufacturer product library
- Manufacturer-supplied specifications or engineering data
- Film-to-glass compatibility approval
- Current manufacturer inventory
- Automatic warranty validation
- Automatic product recommendations
The shop remains responsible for accurate catalog entries and current manufacturer guidance.
Availability
The Film Catalog is included with Shop. It is optional. A Shop user can start core planning without configuring it.
