# Customer Estimates

Prepare a customer estimate from the measured job, then finalize an exact revision for sharing and response.

## Build from the measured project
The estimate workflow can reuse the customer, measurements, selected films, Scopes, material totals, pricing, taxes, charges, terms, warranty information, and reusable customer information sheets already entered for the job. Review every customer-facing detail before finalizing.
## Attachment details
Where configured, Precision Film Systems calculates attachment linear feet from the measured work, applies attachment pricing, and carries the details into relevant estimate and project output. The shop decides whether attachment is required and remains responsible for system design, compatibility, engineering, code requirements, and manufacturer guidance.
## Finalized revision snapshot
Finalizing creates an exact estimate revision for sharing. Later job edits do not silently rewrite that revision. A new revision must be finalized when the customer needs to review changed terms, pricing, Scope, or supporting documents.
## Verified formats
Shop can generate a letter-size estimate PDF and a secure responsive customer link. The hosted link presents the exact finalized revision that was shared.
## Share through the user's apps
Precision Film Systems can create the secure link, open the user's configured mail application with a prepared message, open the device SMS composer with a prepared message, or copy the link. The user sends the message through their own email, SMS, or other sharing service. Precision Film Systems is not an email-delivery or SMS-delivery provider.
## Product boundary
Estimates do not replace CRM, contracting, accounting, invoicing, payment collection, scheduling, or production authorization.
## Availability
Estimates, finalized revisions, hosted customer links, and customer responses are included with Shop.
