# Cut-Plan Usage and Billing

Use customer-facing cut-plan terminology consistently across Solo, Shop, and Flex.

## Plan allowances
 - **Solo:** 25 included cut plans each month. They reset on the subscription anniversary date and do not roll over.
- **Shop:** cut plans for normal shop use, subject to fair-use restrictions against resale, abuse, and automated bulk runs.
- **Flex:** no recurring base charge. Flex uses purchased cut-plan packs.
## Purchased cut-plan packs
 - 5 cut plans for $29 or 10 cut plans for $49.
- One-time purchases that do not renew automatically.
- Purchased plans remain valid for 12 months.
- On Solo, purchased plans are used only after the included monthly allowance is exhausted.
- Packs do not change the 20 unique-row per-job limit.
## What uses a cut plan
A cut plan is used when the user generates an optimized result for a pane list whose valid geometry or quantities have changed. Adding or removing a valid pane row, changing a valid width or height, or changing quantity and generating again requires another cut plan.
## What does not use another cut plan
Reopening saved results, reviewing diagrams, changing result views, printing, changing Group labels, and reviewing available planning modes do not use another cut plan. Orientation and planning-setting changes can refresh the current session without another cut-plan charge when the pane geometry and quantities are unchanged.
## Billing and cancellation
Solo and Shop subscriptions can be managed in the account or through Paddle. Paid access continues through the current billing period after cancellation. See [Cancellation and Refunds](https://precisionfilmsystems.com/docs/../refunds.html) for refund-request information.
