Precision Film Systems is the public brand of Precision Film Systems LLC, a Kentucky-based company founded in 2026 by Adam Collins.

## Why it was created

Adam began planning Precision Film Systems in 2024 while estimating and installing flat-glass window film through a small shop. The first goal was practical: take measured panes and quickly compare standard roll widths before deciding what material to order.

Development began in summer 2025. What started as a roll-width comparison tool grew into a connected planning system for the information surrounding the cut plan, including pane measurements, groups and scopes, film details, partial rolls, estimating, diagrams, production planning, photos, notes, and job output.

Precision Film Systems LLC was founded in Kentucky in 2026.

## Founder

Adam Collins is the founder of Precision Film Systems. He has more than 10 years of flat-glass window-film experience from operating a small shop and working directly with estimating and installation.

## Who Precision Film Systems serves

Precision Film Systems is geared toward small and midsize flat-glass window-film shops. It can also be used by solo installers, estimators and sales teams, larger shops, and tint shops preparing to add residential or commercial flat-glass work.

Precision Film Systems is flat-glass job-planning software built around the measured job and the cut plan. It can work alongside CRM, accounting, scheduling, invoicing, and payment systems while focusing on the pane-level planning work those broader systems do not specialize in.

The software does not replace installer judgment or manufacturer film-to-glass compatibility guidance.
